Hi friends,
Whatever your plans this March break, there's probably a craft project to match. Here are some ideas to get you started:
• Heading to the mall? Before you leave, help your kids make their own personalized shopping bags – and reduce the contents of your recycling bin while you're at it.
• Having a group of kids over for the day? Round up some common materials and make some easy musical instruments, then stage an impromptu concert.
• Planning a gourmet staycation? Prepare these tiny planters on the first day of the break, and soon you'll be eating your own homegrown sprouts.
• Looking for a way to brighten up a grey March day? A little bit of tie-dye will go a long way.
• Ready for a bit of wardrobe renovation? Refashioning T-shirts is all the rage, and this activity is sure to be a hit with your older tweens and teens.
The Canadian Living craft blog, Make+Do, has even more March break inspiration. Pour yourself a cup of tea and stop by for a visit!
Happy crafting,
